Raspberry Picking

Summertime means raspberry picking season! If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your friends or family, look no further than your local raspberry patch. Ontario, Canada, for example, is home to some of the best raspberries in the country, and there’s no better way to enjoy them than by picking them yourself! In this guide, we will provide you with all the information you need to know about raspberry picking. We’ll tell you where to find the best raspberries around North America, what time of year they are open, and how much fruit you can expect to pick. Let’s get started!

Raspberry Picking Activity

This is a great activity for people of all ages. It’s a perfect way to spend a summer day outdoors, and you can even take your bounty home with you to enjoy later! Raspberries are best picked when they are ripe, so be sure to check the raspberry patch before you go to see if they are ready for picking. You can usually find raspberry patches open from June to October, but the best time to pick raspberries is typically late August or early September.

When you arrive at the raspberry patch, you will be given a picking container to fill with your fruit. The average person can usually fill one container in about an hour, but it all depends on how many raspberries you find! Be sure to eat a few while you’re picking – they are delicious! – but save most of them for taking home. Once your container is full, simply weigh it at the raspberry patch exit and pay for your fruit. And that’s it – you’re done!
